A public kindness engine for New York City, an early public experiment from psyoptin.com. The engine finds and prepares; people bring judgment and action.

checks, posts, reposts, thank-yous
USEFUL CHANGES

BENEFIT CONFIRMED
0
none yet: only a person or an organization saying it helped counts here
Three separate measures, never added together. A repost is a repost, not a person helped.
What the engine actually got done, each with its evidence. A problem it found and a problem it fixed are counted separately; activity that changed nothing is not counted at all.

These are the engine's own hands. The bigger number is the Book of Deeds: a public ledger anyone can write a deed in, with evidence, and the aim of being the largest public ledger of verified good deeds in the world.

Ask the engine
It answers from a fixed list first; anything else goes to a chatbot that reads only the engine's public record and can neither act nor send. If you are in trouble it points you to real people first.
